We now have a dedicated server for the District and Gang Show photograph archives. This server is online 24/7 and from this page you can:-
Go to the Archives (for Scouting use only) The photos have been organsied into years with Groups/Unit subdirectories below that. Make sure that you use the arrows on the directores to expand to the sub directories.
The Go to the Archives link conects to the server that holds the photos so far. This server is online 24/7 and it takes you to "Greywolf PhotoStation." You initially see a pale blue screen with a rotating square with a Connecting message before it opens a purple background with the photos ordered by year.
Upload photos (aka District Webdrop)
of your Scouting event to our server. This is a really easy way to send photos to us for the Archives and for District Review.
How to Upload photos. Due to not wanting all sorts of unwanted photos on our server and to maintain a decent structure to the contents it was decided to do this "offline" by sending the photos to me (Webmaster) and I do the upload. The upload photos link takes you to WeTransfer app and sometimes this has adverts on the front page. Just click on "I just want to send files" or "continue with Free" or whatever WeTransfer are using. This will show you a window on the left with my email address, it will help me if you input some sort of email title or subject (like your Group) and the Message of "District photos for the Archive" so all you have to do is click on Add your files and click on Transfer. These get zipped up (compressed) and sent over. If at all possible i would prefer .jpg files
Gallery photos of your Scouting event to the site gallery. This is a
really easy way to send photos to us for the
Site gallery.
The process to upload for the gallery is the same as that for the Archives. See above.
